Four Generations of Quality & Fashion: Celebrating 100 Years of Elrene Home Fashions

Elrene Home Fashions is a fourth-generation family business that was established by Jonas Siegel in 1922. The company started as a millinery company but shifted its focus to creating vinyl tablecloths, becoming the first manufacturer to cut and sew vinyl tablecloths in the United States. Elrene Home Fashions created thousands of jobs in Manhattan during the Great Depression, and the company has since become a leader in quality textile table linen.

The company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has been a hallmark since its inception. Jonas Siegel branded the company in his granddaughter's name, Elaine Rene, and declared that Elrene would stand for quality products and customer satisfaction. This commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has been passed down through the generations and remains a core value of the company today.

Bernard Siegel, Jonas' son, joined the business in the 1930s, and together with his father, continued to grow the company. Bernard's son, Mark, officially joined the business in the 1960s and guided Elrene into a new generation. Under Mark's leadership, the company evolved from vinyl tablecloth specialists to quality textile table linen leaders.

Mark's sons, Bryan and Craig Siegel, joined the family business in the mid-1990s and began focusing on their roles and passions within the company. When Mark retired in 2008, Bryan and Craig became Co-CEO leaders, bringing 100 years of quality family values, expertise, and customer commitment to the company.

Elrene Home Fashions has navigated through turbulent times in the United States, and the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has remained a constant. The company's evolution from vinyl tablecloth specialists to quality textile table linen leaders is a testament to the company's ability to adapt and innovate.

From the company's family table to yours, Elrene Home Fashions continues to bring quality products and fashion into homes across America. The company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has been passed down through the generations and remains a core value of the company today.
